Scandals are common occurrences in the entertainment industry and Nigeria is not different. This year, there were a lot of scandals recorded, many of which made headlines for weeks.

Here is a list of the top scandals in the entertainment industry in 2016.

One dead, several injured as truck ploughs into traders in Igando


One life was lost and several others sustained injuries after a truck owned by Pepsi veered off the road into the midst of a number of roadside traders. Properties and wares belonging to the market were also destroyed and the contents of the truck were not spared in the damage.
